“Forevergreen” is an animated short film featuring never before seen animation techniques and handmade artistry, weaving art and technology together with heart and humor.
Directed by Nathan Engelhardt and Jeremy Spears, “Forevergreen” opens to the world in 2025.

NATHAN ENGELHARDT is an Animation Supervisor who has worked on films like Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Frozen 2, Encanto, Rio and more. Most recently, Nathan has written and directed an independent animated short film called "Forevergreen," which will be his directorial debut.

JEREMY SPEARS is an Annie Award Winning Story Artist and has helped create beloved characters and stories for films such as Encanto, Wreck-It Ralph, Zootopia, Moana, and Frozen. In his free time, he creates unique wooden sculptures in his Whittle Woodshop​​. His latest passion project is directing the independent animated short film "Forevergreen."

With over 17 years of experience in animation production, STEPH GORTZ has contributed to a number of groundbreaking projects at both Walt Disney Animation Studios and DreamWorks Animation, including Frozen, Moana and Big Hero 6. Passionate about collaboration and storytelling, she brings a steady hand and deep industry knowledge to every production.

Originally from the Boston area but now based in Los Angeles, JEN GANDRUP SACKHEIM thrives on collaborating with artists to bring their creative visions to life. In addition to co-producing Forevergreen, she's worked on several animated theatrical films, and is currently a Production Supervisor at a US based Animation Studio. When she's not working she enjoys diving into a good story, tending to her home garden, and rooting for New England sports teams.

JOSH GARRELS is an independent singer-songwriter, producer, and engineer. Over the past 20 years he’s self-released 13 albums, performed for appreciative audiences worldwide, and his music has been heard in various movies and television shows. Josh currently lives on a farm in Michigan with his wife Michelle and their 5 children, where he works from his barn studio.

ISAAC WARDELL is an award-winning composer and producer, and the creative force behind The Porter's Gate. Isaac has worked with a wide range of artists including Josh Garrels, Sufjan Stevens, Madison Cunningham, and Marcus Mumford. Currently based in Washington DC, he has spent the past twenty years arranging music for record labels and artists all around the world.
